What is Puppy Kindergarten?
New puppy? We know how exciting, yet challenging these early months can be!
Puppy Kindergarten is a comprehensive training program designed to give your puppy the best start. At Olympia Dog Training, we offer a Puppy Kindergarten to teach new puppy parents everything you need to know about how to raise a well-rounded, balanced adult dog in the comfort of your own home. We help with potty training, crate training, basic commands, socialization, and much more. This service builds a strong foundation, setting you up for the best chance of success as your puppy grows and prepares you and your puppy for more advanced/adult training down the line.
Program Details
Designed for pups 10-18 weeks, Puppy Kindergarten is a 6-week program with 1-hour sessions each week in your home. We'll cover exposure/socialization, engagement, confidence building, crate/potty training, and introduce basic commands like sit, down, wait, place, and more. We'll also address preventing behavior issues such as resource guarding and fear-based aggression. The last day of class will take place in a public setting to help parents and puppies maintain focus and training around distractions.
